Apart from the firmware issues, this is legit the cheapest option to connect your leverless to PS5. Just flash the firmware and its just plug and play.

I had bought the Haute42 C16 from Neo Macro itself along with this bootloader. But using the latest firmware from COSMOX using PS5 mode didn't work. The manual for this bootloader suggests P5General mode but does not even provide the firmware that contains that option. Had to dig in the official GP2040-CE github to dig the link and make a firmware build myself. For anyone in the future hoping to use this along with the C16 I have uploaded a working firmware here that contains the P5General which allows this to work https://github.com/justine05/GP2040-CE-Haute42P5General/releases.
